The Costa Rican Campus of Dare 2 Make A Change has had students/residents now for a little over a month and we are beaming with delight. Our girls are adjusting well to their new surroundings. They are making friends, learning English and much much more! We are so happy to give these girls a safe and happy home where they feel free to discover their unique talents and to learn about the world around them and how they can make a difference for the highest good of all.
Well, it’s been a long road. We’ve worked with PANI for years now to get the appropriate permits to open our school/home for girls. We are so happy to be receiving the final permit in our hands today. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it right?
We are so grateful to everyone for their encouragement, prayers, positive thoughts, and donations. Truthfully, the real work of changing the lives of our girls has just begun. So please do continue those positive thoughts, prayers, and donations. We couldn’t do this work without you!
Peace and blessings,
There are many injustices in the world. As a father of a daughter; the sex trade, sexual slavery, and gender inequality are not just headline news, but become a stark reminder of the reality of forces that continue to influence generations to come.
Furthermore, as a believer that education is the real solution to fixing these issues, imagine the disappointment when confronted with statistics of a failing reform of global educational systems, let alone one that even exists for a range of girls compounded with issues of poverty and socio-economic inequities. As a father and as a man that’s capable of doing something in this world, I couldn’t stand by and do nothing.
By teaching a new generation that they can be self reliant and maintain life without depleting global resources gives the world hope and a future. A hope and future that shines past the veil of destitution and abandonment that leads down a path of desperation and slavery.
Dare 2 Make a Change is about a global change that educates leaders to come that will guide to world towards a future without these injustices.
Thank you for joining us in our journey building a global network of Dare 2 Make a Change Campuses serving abused, neglected and underprivileged girls and their communities.
